DRINK MORE WATER


Have you noticed how dull and tired your skin looks after a day of minimal water intake? Considering skin is made up of 64% water it's crucial to make water consumption a vital part of your daily routine, like skincare.



A 2007 study done by the International Journal of Cosmetic Science found that drinking 2.25 liters of water everyday for four weeks changed skin density and thickness.

Studies have found that consistency is key, therefore making sure to maintain proper water consumption habits is an essential part of everyday routine. How much water should you drink daily? Half our body weight in ounces is a great place to start. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds you should be drinking 75 ounces of water per day as a baseline.

  • Use decaf tea or herbs to flavor your water.

  • Drink a large cup of water first thing when you wake up.

  • Incorporate fruits and vegetables that have a high water content.
