Our mission is to provide services personalized to each client to enhance their natural beauty in a safe and relaxed environment. Each consult and procedure is client focused whereas both provider and client work in conjunction. A global approach is used to make sure the client is fully educated and that every client goes home with the education to maintain the successes achieved at XO Medical Spa. We strive to give our clients a renewed sense of self by allowing them to look as good as they feel and feel as good as they look.
Khanh Nguyen
FNP-C MSN // Lead Provider & President
Khanh Nguyen, comes to XO|MS with close to a decade in adult medicine, hospital management, and medical aesthetics. His history started with a degree in chemistry and then eventually branching to a master’s and nurse practitioner degree.
With a primary focus in adult medicine and working with the under-served Asian population, he wanted to incorporate his passion for art and fashion into the world of medicine. Having owned a brand promotion company for over four years and working with the largest fashion houses, he found medical aesthetics, a profession that allowed him to blend his love for both art and medicine.
Because of these traits, he sees each client as an individual and works with what their goals are. His specialties include Asian facial contouring, male aesthetics, and a mastery in neurotoxins, fillers, PDO threads, and multi-modality lasers.
In 2020 Khanh was awarded Top Nova Threads Practitioner in San Diego and Top 3 practitioners in Orange County.
Chris Snell
MD MPH // Medical Director
Christopher Snell is a native to Southern California, raised in Ocean Beach, San Diego. Dr. Snell began his medical journey at the University of California San Diego for his undergraduate studies. He then attended San Diego State University for his master’s degree, which led him to University of California Los Angeles for medical school. He then continued to expand his love for medicine at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where he executed an anesthesia residency. He then concluded his training in Seattle at The University of Washington, completing an Interventional Pain Fellowship. Dr. Snell is an anesthesiologist who sub-specializes in venous disorders, facial aesthetics, and interventional pain management.
Cheyenne Rubens
Brand Manager
Cheyenne was born and raised in San Diego. She has spent the last several years working in the health and wellness industry. She has assisted practices with operations, client coordination, and marketing. Cheyenne is also a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and has a passion for integrating culinary arts with optimal wellness. With her extensive history in social media and branding, she played a big part in developing XO Medical Spa's branding and image. As a Graphic Designer - she creates Xo's branded content and runs all social channels.
